I've been working on some digital collage pieces this week to get into the swing of things again. This one is done in Photoshop with some of my photos and a very old illustration of my talented partner. We had a sort through our combined ridiculous amount of past artwork when we moved and there we a few pieces I really liked but didn't know what to do with just on their own so I've decided to use them to make new pieces. I'm not entirely sure if I've finished this but it's finished for now.

The weather this past week has been cold, foggy and miserable. I can't wait for spring to get here. To cheer myself up I've been browsing for inspiration. I've currently got an obsession with all things gypsy. I've been trying to get hold of this book but it appears to be impossible to get hold of in the UK at the minute so I've had to make myself content with what I can find on the internet.
I've also just stumbled across a fabulous site rosehip. Her crochet edged cushions are fantastic. Just what's needed to chase away the winter!

RHS Flower Show 2011, Tatton Park, a set on Flickr.I'm trying to sort through some of the massive collection of photo's on my PC and get around to uploading them. These were taken on last years trip to the flower show. Lots of lovely colour!

I don't think I ever posted photo's of my finished winter scarf so I took a few to put up. It's done in Araucania Toconao Multy which is a lovely yarn to work with. It feels lovely, doesn't tangle and knot and comes in great colours. I've been wearing this all winter and it's sooo cosy and doesn't itch at all.
The pattern is one from ravelry. Here's the project for the links to the yarn and the pattern.
